There are many US sites on the Internet that deal with all aspects of the Civil War, including current Re-enactment groups and Sutlers. I have found the following UK sites to be valuable, and informative.

The Sutlers Stores is Europe's leading supplier of authentic historic uniforms and accessories for the period from 1700-1950. Suppliers of authentic quality products and services to Re-enactors Museums, Film & Theatre since 1998. Proud to serve over 9,000 clients worldwide, and to include the majority of Europe's leading re-enactors as customers.

Westpoint Sutlers was formed in 1997. They are members of two major American Civil War re-enactment societies in the UK and as they are re-enactors themselves, they know exactly what re-enactors and living historians want from their hobby. Throughout the summer season they travel around the UK to major American Civil War and multi-period events.

Simply Civil War are now established as the UK's leading supplier of American civil war gifts and collectables to enthusiasts all over the UK and Europe.

EventPlan arranges and co-ordinates re-enactors & performers representing virtually every historical era for living history displays, battle re-enactments, multi-era "spectaculars", documentaries and films. They can organise live displays and entertainments of all sizes including for corporate hospitality events.

The southern Skirmish Association, (SOSKAN) the oldest American Civil War Re-enactment and Living History Society in the UK now in its 39th year with over 400 members. This year as part of its events calendar SOSKAN is travelling to the Paris Western Show, being staged in the city of Versailles.

American Civil War Society (ACWS) is the largest American Civil War re-enactment society in the UK. They have strong connections with American Civil War re-enactors from all over the world. The Society provides an absorbing hobby for its members. They aim to give an exciting, colourful, noisy spectacle, enjoyable to watch as well as being very informative.

The Volunteer Company ‘Living Historians’ I find the Forum on this site particularly informative, it always has something that is currently in discussion regarding re-enacting in the UK, Europe, and The States.
